Shopian, August 1, 2026: Following a sudden cloudburst in Pahlipora village of Shopian district, which triggered flash flooding and damaged three residential houses, the Peoples Development Welfare Foundation (PDWF) immediately rushed to the affected area to assess the ground situation and provide emergency assistance to the affected families.
As part of its relief efforts, the PDWF team distributed food kits among the affected families to help meet their immediate needs. The team also interacted with local residents, expressed solidarity with those impacted by the disaster, and assured them of continued humanitarian support during this difficult time.
