Based in District Shopian, Jammu & Kashmir, PDWF works at the grassroots level to create meaningful change.

Mass marriage is a community-welfare initiative intended to encourage dignity, social inclusion, family welfare, and community participation, subject to the foundation’s actual programme arrangements.
This initiative reflects the foundation’s commitment to supporting families and strengthening community bonds through responsible and compassionate action.
Cutting & Tailoring Training Programme
Practical Skills. Greater Confidence. New Opportunities.
Develop Practical Tailoring Skills
This programme offers an opportunity to develop practical sewing, stitching, garment-making, and tailoring skills, particularly for women and girls seeking livelihood opportunities.
- Proposed training duration: Six months
- Training areas: Cutting, stitching, tailoring, and garment-making
- Certificate: Planned after successful completion of the six-month course, subject to programme conditions
- Sewing-machine support: Proposed after six months, subject to programme terms and eligibility
- Planned locations: Shopian, Pulwama, Anantnag, Kupwara, and Srinagar
